I.Chicken – one small Cornish hen or your choice of chicken

  1. Oil – olive oil one serving spoon
  2. Onion – one chopped medium size onion
  3. Garlic – 3 tablespoons minced
  4. Ginger – 2 tablespoons minced
  5. Tomatoes – 3
  6. Tomato paste – 1 tablespoon
  7. Coriander powder-1 teaspoon
  8. Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  9. Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon
  10. Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
  11. Kasturi methi – 2 tablespoons crushed in hand
  12. Cashews – one cup


  1. Make pure tomatoes in a blender and set them aside.
  2. Add cashews in a blender with a half cup of water and cream.
  3. Now add oil to a pan and let it get warm. Add onions, stir fry, and add garlic, ginger, and turmeric powder. Cook on low-medium heat. Add chicken and let cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, Garam masala and mix well, and immediately add tomato puree and tomato paste and mix well.
  5. Add half a cup of water and let the chicken cook. When chicken is well-done, add cashew cream. Mix well until the chicken looks creamy and everything mixes well. In the end, add Kasturi methi. Cook for a few minutes more.
  6. Enjoy with rice, naan, or pronthas.
