Ingredients

  1. Chicken -2 cup of small cut cube size
  2. Onion – 1 small onion cut into long wedges
  3. Tomato – one medium size cut into small pieces.
  4. Cilantro – for garnish
  5. turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  6. Salt – according to taste
  7. Black pepper – one teaspoon
  8. Red chili– less than half teaspoon
  9. Coriander powder – one and a half teaspoon
  10. Cumin powder – one and a half teaspoon
  11. Kalongi seeds ( black caraway) – one teaspoon
  12. Oil – 4 tablespoons
  13. Ghee – one tablespoon

Preparation

  1. Add oil let it get a little warm and then add ghee. As soon as it gets warm add onion. Sauté onions for 2 minutes on high heat.
  2. After 2 minutes add chicken. Stir chicken until the color is changed.
  3.  Now add all ingredients. turmeric powder, Black pepper, red chili, cumin powder, coriander powder, kalongi. Mix everything well. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Now and add tomatoes. Let it simmer on medium heat for 8 minutes.
  5. After 8 minutes chicken should be done. Just check and garnish with cilantro. Your chicken is ready, enjoy with bread or naan or salad.
